Through Cherished Memories Photography, I am one of the team photographers for Lake Elsinore's Storm Minor League Baseball Team, which is connected to the Padres Major League Baseball Team. I shoot with a 7D and 300mm lens. I also bring a monopod and battery extension pack for the camera body. I shoot in aperture priority for the majority of the game, but if it comes down to it, I do switch to manual in more controlled weather lighting. These photos are the property of Storm Baseball and Cherished Memories Photography.

This was shot with Canon DSLR 80D and a 24-105 mm lens. All photos were taken on manual setting, using natural lighting.
I remember this photoshoot like it was yesterday. My high school, Elsinore High School, has an amazing video production program, where students are offered opportunities to participate in Canon Workshops. I was one of those lucky students in this instance, and it was an unbelievable learning experience. It was also the first time I used a 300 mm lens. This action shoot was shot with a Canon DSLR 5D Mark IV with a 70-200mm and 300 mm lens. All of these photos were shot with manual settings, using natural lighting.
This photoshoot was a fun weekend get-a-way with some of my close friends. I used a Canon DSLR 80D with a 24-105mm lens. I shot using manual settings, and the white balance was set to cloudy. I used all natural lighting in these photos.
The Fourth of July screams, "Firework pictures!" I seized the moment. I shot these photos on a Canon DSLR 7D with a 18-75mm lens. These pictures were captured on manual settings with a three second long shutter speed to capture all the light from the fireworks. I actually forgot a tripod on this shoot, so I ended up propping the camera on the side of my friend's truck for stability.
I was flattered when my close family friends invited me to photograph their sons and peers as they participated in Temecula's Fourth of July Parade. The Young Marines of Temecula Valley make perfect models, even in hot weather. I shot this parade with a Canon DSLR 7D and a 18-75mm lens. I used manual settings on all the photos, and the white balance was set to cloudy to make the pictures warmer.
KINGS CANYON NATIONAL PARKThis trip was all about documentation for me. Growing up an only child, I attached myself to my cousins as they were the closest things to siblings that I had. I enjoy photographing their personas and using them as models, so we can view the photos later and reminisce in our childhood. It is a challenge incorporating nature and portraits, but I embraced the challenge and tried to be as creative as I could. I shot with a Canon DSLR 7D and 18-75mm lens. I used manual settings for all the photos and natural lighting. For my landscape photos, I used HDR art vivid to capture brighter colors and tones. ZION NATIONAL PARKOn my first trip to Zion National Park, I focused on mostly landscape photography because I was in awe of the natural beauty of the canyon. I did a couple portraits with friends at a nearby river and pushed my comfort zone, as I was laying in the water holding an expensive camera as I captured the photos. Some of my favorite pictures have to be from this time period because of the stories my photos portray. I was focusing on storytelling on most of my photos in this section, so I hope you can see the stories. I shot with a Canon DSLR 80D and 24-105mm lens with manual settings on all the photos. For landscape photos, I used HDR Art Vivid to capture brighter colors and attain the best lighting scheme as possible. I also experimented on long exposures in the park, while I could barely see anything at that time. My shutter speed was set at thirty seconds, so you can imagine the patience I was forced to have. I also used a tripod on all the landscape pictures for a more stable photo. YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARKIn November 2016, I earned one of the ten spots my high school offered to go on a Canon Workshop in Yosemite National Park. We stayed there for five days, taking photos from sunrise to sunset in beautiful locations all over Yosemite. From El Capitan at seven in the morning to Glacier Point at sunset, all the information I attained during that workshop still ives within me each day, as I continue to capture photographs. I used a Canon DSLR 5D Mark IV with a 15mm fish eye lens, 24-105mm lens, and 70-200mm lens. I learned how to use HDR efficiently and hot to take long exposures. It truly was an amazing learning experience, and I wish I could go back everyday.
These photos are a compilation of all the portraits I have ever taken. I have taken business card headshots, senior photos, family photos, basketball portraits, softball portraits, and baseball portraits. Each of these photoshoots used professional lights with my camera transmitting the signal to my twos lights to flash when I took a picture. I used to various cameras on these shoots, such as Canon DSLR 7D, 80D, and 60D with a 18-75 mm lens, 70-200mm lens, and 24-105 mm lens. All photos were taken with manual settings and custom white balance.
